It was just a fine choice for a weekend pause in Bala with good value considering price it charged. The rainfall shower was good and refreshing after a long day. Avoid the front-facing rooms if road noise bothers you.

Absolutely loved the breakfast! The fruit preserves were a sweet little touch that had me dreaming of scones. Plus, my room was the Deluxe Family Room, spacious enough for the whole crew, even our pup felt at home! The little fan was a lifesaver during the warm nights, making sure we got a good sleep after all that exploring.
I slyly wished for more parking spots since the spot filled up quick with the restaurant bustle. Just a minor hiccup. everything else sparkled like a gem!

Unique breakfast ordering process that set a relaxed vibe. Spacious room with a comfortable layout, excellent for unwinding after a day of exploration.
Room cleanliness was a bit lacking. I noticed an odd smell near the public restrooms that could use attention. The TV didn’t respond well to the remote, forcing me to get out of bed to switch it off, which was less than ideal after a long day. parking can be a challenge during busy times, making it tricky to find a spot, especially with bustling restaurant activity.

I absolutely loved my stay at Plas Yn Dre. The location on the high street made exploring Bala so easy. My room, a Deluxe Family Room, was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the quality of the towels and toiletries provided. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade granola. A great touch was having my name on the parking space. very welcoming! One downside was the noise from the live band at a nearby pub, but it quieted down by 10:30 PM. I wished for more cooked breakfast options too. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

comfortable stay but noisy mornings
The reserved parking space made check-in smooth. The bed offered great comfort, and the tea tray was thoughtfully stocked.
There was some noise in the mornings.

Delicious dining experience and warm hospitality
I had a delightful stay, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the incredibly welcoming staff. The breakfast was exceptional—especially the homemade granola and hot Welsh breakfast that really stood out! My room was spacious and warm, with a fantastic shower that made for a restful night. One minor area for improvement would be the breakfast service, as it was occasionally slow during peak times.

Cozy place with friendly vibes
Had a nice stay for 4 nights. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast had loads of options. My room was cozy and always had hot water, which was a nice touch. Only thing was the food in the restaurant – didn't really impress. The gnocchi was definitely a no-go. But yeah, loved the bar area!

I had a great time dining outside with friends. The meal was good, and the wine selection complemented it well. I enjoyed relaxing in the large hot tub afterward. The view from the balcony was memorable and made for a nice afternoon.
The room was a bit hot, but there was a fan provided which helped.
